|
| GROWTH |
|
Nebraska Meat moved to Newark, New Jersey in 1991, opening our smoking operation with fifty |
employees. Our sales were confined to the immediate Tri-State area. Today our employees exceed
|
400, and we ship all over the North America, reaching points in Hawaii, Canada, Mexico and the |
Caribbean. |
| |
|
| INNOVATION |
The company continues to study industry trends and |
adapt to changing needs of the market. We produce
|
quality and affordable products for general consumption, |
rather than the elite few. We take great pride in our |
streamlined, state-of-the-art plant and adherence to |
USDA & OSHA standards. |
| |
| EMPLOYEES |
Since inception, part of our mission is to hire and train |
"hard-to-place" individuals. We have offered comprehen-
|
|
sive training, and are exceedingly proud that many have |
advanced to management positions within the company. |
We have made a difference in the lives of those who |
were deprived of an opportunity. We adhere to the |
principals of Equal Opportunity hiring. We also offer |
above-average starting salary and benefits. It is a |
practice at Nebraska Meat for management to meet |
regularly with small groups of employees at every level |
in round-table discussions. |
